Roar Simon

Roar Simon is an experienced IT professional with a focus on system operations and management. Currently serving as Team Lead SystemIT Operations at Lyse since February 2024, Roar has previously held roles such as System Operations Team Lead at ice Norway and IT Administrator at Norsk Titanium. Additional experience includes working as a Systems Consultant at Basefarm and an IT Operations Consultant at EVRY ASA, where responsibilities involved implementation and management of monitoring services, datacenter infrastructure, and customer server applications. Earlier career experience includes serving as ICT Manager at Buskerud fylkeskommune, managing Windows clients and providing user support. Roar completed education at Hønefoss VGS from 2002 to 2004.
