Matt Powell

Matt Powell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matt is currently working as a Senior Developer at UsabilityHub since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Artistic Co-Director at the New Zealand Improvisation Trust starting from March 2023. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Developer at Optimal Workshop and as a Senior Software Developer at Flick Electric Co. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer at Flux Federation from July 2015 to March 2018. Before that, they worked as a Rich Internet Applications Engineer at SLI Systems from January 2011 to June 2015. Matt also has experience in performing with The Court Jesters since 2003. Matt worked as a Tutor at the School for Young Writers from May 2010 to April 2013, where they taught writing to young students and assisted with editing their work for school magazine publication. Matt also gained experience as a Lead Developer/Visual Designer at LeftClick Ltd from April 2006 to December 2010. Matt's early experience includes working as a Designer for personal projects since 1998.

Matt Powell obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree with a major in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury, where they attended from 1998 to 2003.
