Toby Willcock

Toby Willcock has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Toby is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at UsabilityHub since 2022. Previously, Toby worked at Flux Federation where they held the positions of Lead Developer from June 2020 to June 2022 and Senior Developer from October 2019 to June 2020. Prior to that, Toby worked at PwC as a Contract Software Engineer from October 2018 to October 2019. At PwC, their responsibilities included maintaining and supporting a Kotlin application with Postgres, building and maintaining several applications in TypeScript with React, and managing servers in AWS and Azure. Before joining PwC, Toby worked at Performance Lab, PLTech, and PLHealth as a Senior Developer from September 2014 to September 2018. In this role, they contributed to building a multi-sport coaching engine and associated applications for iOS and Android, as well as infrastructure management in AWS. Toby's earlier experience includes working as a Software Developer at Orion Health from January 2010 to August 2014. In this position, they built OSGi applications in Java and worked with SQL databases like Oracle and MS SQL Server, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra. Toby'sresponsibilities also included deploying, populating, upgrading, and maintaining these applications.

Toby Willcock attended the University of Otago from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
