Amir Shamsuddin

Amir Shamsuddin is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in engineering, data science, and technology management. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Lyst since November 2015, Amir manages Data Science and Machine Learning teams focused on search, recommendations, ranking systems, and responsible AI deployment. As a co-founder and CTO of Edible Experiences Ltd from January 2011 to January 2021, Amir was instrumental in creating an online marketplace for food and drink events, overseeing the development of the technical infrastructure. Previous roles include a Consultant at Mediobanca and VTB Capital, where Amir contributed to risk management systems, as well as a Researcher at Endeavour Capital Management and Rolls-Royce, specializing in quantitative analysis and thermal modeling. Amir holds a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
