Matthew W.

Matthew W. is currently the VP of Infrastructure at Lyst. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Operations Engineer at Global Personals from December 2011 to November 2014. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining the company's hosted system infrastructure, including over 100 dedicated servers, the private cloud architecture, the QA environment, the Akamai CDN network, and the monitoring of the entire infrastructure. Matthew also managed deployment and developer support.

High availability and high performance are always the goals, so Matthew likes to promote the investment of time and resources in to the software they use so that they can understand the technologies inside out. Matthew enjoys finding ways to take technologies that are still in an emerging stage and find ways to integrate them safely and stabily in a production environment.
