Beatriz M. currently serves as a SEM Analyst at Lyten since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a SEM/lowkV STEM Analyst at Eurofins | Nanolab Technologies from April 2021 to July 2023, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Merced from August 2018 to December 2020, where foundational knowledge in synthesizing MoS2 for energy applications was developed under Dr. Vincent Tung. Earlier, Beatriz held the position of Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Merced and gained project management experience as an Assistant Project Manager in two Engineering Service Learning initiatives. Beatriz's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Materials and Biomaterials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Merced, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering with a focus on Nanotechnology and a minor in Natural Science of Education. Prior education includes studies at Ventura College and Channel Islands High School.
