Jason B.

Jason B. has a strong background in information security and IT operations. Jason is currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Lytx, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Carvana, from 2020 to 2022, and also served as a Senior Manager from 2018 to 2020.

Before joining Carvana, Jason worked at Early Warning® as the Manager for SecOps, where they implemented and enhanced risk mitigation measures. Jason also served as an Infrastructure Security Architect, ensuring security policies were integrated with the SDLC process. Additionally, they worked as an Information Security Engineer at Early Warning®. Prior to that, they were the Escalation Response Engineer Team Lead at ProNet Solutions, where they led a team of engineers and managed infrastructure changes.

Jason's earlier work experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at Ensynch, a Senior Systems Administrator at OneNeck IT Services, and a Senior Systems Administrator at Ensynch, Inc. Jason began their career as a Bartender at Dirtbags.

Jason B. has a varied education history. Jason attended the University of Arizona from 1992 to 1999, focusing on Computer Science. In 1998, they also attended Pima Community College, where they obtained an AAS degree in Electronics Systems Technology from 1998 to 2001. Later on, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University. Jason has also obtained additional certifications, including being a Certified Ethical Hacker through EC-Council in 2015 and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional through (ISC)2 in 2014.
