Mohan Palani

Mohan Palani is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and media sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Lytx, Inc. since October 2020, Mohan previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at ARRIS, where significant contributions included leading the development of a smart home media gateway and an IP video streaming solution that facilitated a multi-year contract with Verizon. Prior to that, at Motorola and its subsidiaries, critical projects involved developing firmware for set-top boxes and cable modem products, achieving successful deployments with major service providers such as Comcast and Spectrum. Mohan’s background also includes leadership roles at OpenTV and Metabyte Networks, where innovative middleware and DVR technologies were developed, enhancing interactive and streaming capabilities for various platforms. Mohan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bharathiar University.
