Patrick Viry

Patrick Viry is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development, transformation, and migration across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at LzLabs since March 2023, Patrick previously worked as a Consultant at The Signalling Company, focusing on formal proof of safety-critical software. As the Founder of Neograms, Patrick developed tools for legacy software renovation and migration, specifically creating a rule-based parsing and transformation engine for IBM i RPG to Java or C#. Additional roles include consulting at Raincode on running Mainframe code and contributing to large-scale software transformation projects at Semantic Designs, where Patrick also served as a sales developer in Europe. With a background as a Lecturer at ENSIIE and experience founding companies like Ateji, Patrick's expertise encompasses domain-specific languages and language technology development. Educationally, Patrick holds a PhD from INRIA and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Strasbourg.
