Peter Tapling

Peter Tapling serves as the Managing Director of PTap Advisory, LLC, where expertise is focused on enhancing communication and understanding of technology within the financial services ecosystem. Tapling is active in various leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Board Member at the U.S. Faster Payments Council, and as a Technology Advisor for Nacha, where involvement includes introducing Phixius to the market. Additional roles encompass advisory and board positions at several organizations, including Fraud Fight Club, ePayResources, Identifee, LzLabs GmbH, 99FinTech, and PayQwick. Tapling holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science and Business Administration from Illinois State University, completed between 1979 and 1983.
