Chris Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Chris is currently working at M-Files as a Senior Manager, Partner Sales in the APAC region. Prior to this, they served as a Sales Advisory Board member at M-Files. Chris also worked as the Partner & Alliance Manager for Australia & New Zealand at M-Files, where they achieved YoY growth and managed the channel strategy for the region. Before joining M-Files, Chris was a Solutions Consultant at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia, where they played a key role in growing the Solutions business. Chris also served as the Southern Region Sales Manager at StoneBridge Systems, responsible for sales and managing vendor relationships. Earlier in their career, Chris worked at Canon Australia Pty Ltd, where they held positions such as Account Relationship Manager, Major Accounts Manager, Digital Workflow Specialist, and Commercial Accounts Manager. Chris started their career as a Business Account Manager at Gateway Australia and as a Network Administrator at Equal Access Communications. Chris has a strong background in sales, partner management, and account management.

Chris Smith attended Trinity Grammar School in Kew, VIC from 1986 to 1991, where they completed their VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education). Following high school, from 1992 to 1994, they attended Box Hill TAFE, where they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Art & Design. In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained a Mastership in Sales from Winning by Design in February 2021, and they also earned ECMs (Enterprise Content Management Specialist) certification from AIIM International in August 2015.
