Markus Leino

Markus Leino has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Markus began their career as a metal worker at Lehtisen Konepaja Oy, where they worked in a metal workshop producing hydraulic cylinders. After that, they worked as an excavator support person and telephone line builder at Henry Kirjavainen.

Markus then moved on to Benefon Oyj, where they assembled mobile phones during their technical school training. Following this, Markus joined the Finnish Defence Forces as a Sergeant for a brief period.

Markus then joined Ky Matti Jalonen Kb as a telehandler operator before starting their long and successful career at Nokia. At Nokia, they worked in various roles such as Senior Design Engineer, Design Engineer, and Trainee, where they designed and maintained the software build process for Symbian-based communicators. Markus also held managerial positions at Nokia, leading a global software tooling organization.

After leaving Nokia, Markus worked at Accenture as a Manager, leading a multi-cultural and multi-site team of software tooling experts. Markus then joined Tampereen Erikoissarana Oy as a Production Engineer, where they were responsible for 3D- and 2D-design and production development of special hinges, as well as the company's IT environment.

Currently, Markus works at M-Files Corporation as a DevOps Specialist and Scrum Master, where they are responsible for maintaining and developing the CI/CD system using on-premises and Azure cloud resources, as well as leading a team in charge of the CI/CD system.

Throughout their career, Markus has gained extensive experience in software tooling, operational leadership, project management, and team management in both local and global settings.

Markus Leino started their education in 1994 at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a B.Sc degree in Computer Science. Markus'sstudies spanned from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Markus Leino has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. In 2019, they acquired the M-Files User certification from M-Files Corporation. In 2020, they obtained three more certifications from M-Files Corporation, namely M-Files Business Administration, M-Files IT Administration, and M-Files Essentials.
