John Griffin

John Griffin has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. John began their career in 1991 as an Oracle Developer at PwC. In 1994, they moved to IMS Health as an Oracle DBA. In 1999, they joined ioko as a Client Director, and was promoted to Sales and Marketing Director, then Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. In 2011, ioko was acquired by Piksel Inc., where they served as SVP, Sales & Marketing, EMEA. In 2013, they co-founded GameSparks Ltd. and served as Chief Commercial Officer. In 2017, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Head of Games, EMEA. In 2020, they founded m3ter, a company that makes usage-based pricing easy for any software business.

John Griffin's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Engineering and Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin from 1987 to 1991, a Professional Diploma in Data Analytics from University College Dublin obtained in July 2020, a Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance from ACCA obtained in February 1993, a Leaving Certificate (Honours) from Castleknock College, Dublin from 1983 to 1987, and elementary and middle school from Skaneateles High School from 1979 to 1983. John is currently pursuing a part-time Masters in Data Analytics & Machine Learning from University College Dublin.
