Jonathan Hill

Jonathan Hill has worked in the tech industry for nearly two decades. Jonathan began their career in 2002 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Sheffield. In 2004, they joined TPP (The Phoenix Partnership) as a Lead Software Engineer. In 2015, they moved to GameSparks Ltd as a Software Architect. In 2017, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Consultant and Senior Software Development Engineer. In 2020, they moved to Ring as a Senior Software Development Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Vice President Of Engineering at m3ter.

Jonathan Hill obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from The University of Sheffield between 1999 and 2002. Jonathan then obtained an M.Phys in Physics from The University of Sheffield between 1995 and 1999. In 2012, they obtained an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle. In 2019, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
