André Schwarz has a comprehensive background in human resources, with a range of roles and responsibilities spanning over two decades. André began their career in 1995 as a Human Resources Specialist at Deutsche Hypothekenbank AG, where they were responsible for personnel administration and payroll for various branches in Germany. After five years in this role, they joined Living Systems AG as a Human Resources Manager, focusing on recruiting software engineers and implementing HR processes and tools. Schwarz then moved on to Alcan Singen GmbH, where they served as Head of the Human Resources Department, overseeing HR operations and leading a team of HR professionals. André later took on the role of Human Resources Manager for the company. In 2006, Schwarz joined Alcan Technology and Management AG as a Training Expert, before transitioning to Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG as the Head of Human Resources. André then joined Leica Geosystems, where they held various positions, including Vice President of Human Resources, with global responsibilities for HR and strategic HR alignment within the division. In 2015, Schwarz joined Axpo Group as an HR Business Partner for the international market. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Human Resources at MAAG Group.
André Schwarz completed their primary and secondary education at Elisabethenschule, earning their Abitur in 1991. André then attended Deutsche Hypothekenbank AG from 1993 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Bankkaufmann. In 1997, they enrolled at AKAD Stuttgart and obtained a degree in Personalfachkaufmann IHK, specializing in Human Resources. Finally, from 2000 to 2004, André studied at AKAD Fachhochschule Stuttgart, earning a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) in Business Economy.
