Urs Maag has extensive work experience in finance and executive roles. Urs is currently serving as Vice President & Group CFO at MAAG Group since March 2014. Prior to this, they worked at TCC - The Continuity Company as Head of Finance CEE, Switzerland & Austria from April 2010 to February 2014. Before that, they were Deputy CFO - Group Vice President and member of the Group Executive Team at gategroup from January 2006 to August 2008. Urs also held the position of Vice President Corporate Development at Gate Gourmet International from September 2000 to December 2005. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Analyst and Member of Management at Zurich Financial Services from August 1998 to August 2000, and as a Senior Consultant Transaction Services and Senior Audit and Advisory at Arthur Andersen from October 1994 to July 1998.
Urs Maag attended the University of Geneva from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a lic. oec. degree in Business Administration. Prior to that, they attended Kantonsschule Baden from 1985 to 1989 and Bezirksschule Endingen from 1981 to 1985. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute in 2002.
