Rob Entjes founded Maandag and served as chair of the board from 1989 to 2025. Since 2025, they are the founder and CEO of Maandag Holding. Earlier in their career, they were a Maritime Officer at SMIT Salvage from 1983 to 1985. They were a shareholder at Fulpra from 2023 to 2025. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Navigation from Higher Nautical School Amsterdam (1979–1985).
