MAARS Design is a Chennai-based architecture and interior design studio founded by architects Mridula and Ammaar Chowdry. 

Rooted in the ethos of building spaces that are contextual, sustainable, and thoughtful, MAARS approaches every project as an opportunity to create environments that are deeply responsive to their surroundings, the people who inhabit them, and the broader urban fabric of which they are a part.
The studio's work spans residential architecture and interior design, with a particular focus on crafting homes that balance openness with privacy, and contemporary aesthetics with a sensitivity to place. Notable projects include The Gully Home; a coastal Chennai residence celebrated for its layered approach to space and privacy; and The Urban Pause, a landmark multi-unit residential development in Chennai that reimagines what modern urban housing in India can look and feel like.
