John Swift has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. John started their career in 1979 at Xerox, where they held various positions, including Sales Operations Manager and Manager of N.A. Sales Skills Training, until 2002. In 2000, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University's School of Business until 2004. In 2003, they became the Owner of Aksess-llc and in 2004, they became a Consultant at Huthwaite International. Additionally, in the same year, they became the Owner-Partner/Vice President of Mid-Atlantic Business Communications, where they currently hold the position.

John Swift attended Montclair State University from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics-Business. John then went on to pursue further education at The George Washington University School of Business from 1993 to 1995, where they earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree with a focus on Business-International studies.
