Patrick Eaton

Patrick Eaton has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Patrick is currently working at mabl as an Engineering Manager since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Google from 2014 to 2021 as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, and Software Engineer. At Google, they were involved in building a team for GKE monitoring and observability tools. Patrick also introduced service-oriented monitoring to the platform. Before joining Google, Patrick worked at Stackdriver as an Architect from 2012 to 2014, where they built a cloud-based Monitoring-as-a-Service solution that was later acquired by Google. Patrick also worked at Oracle as an Architect for a short period in 2012 before the company's acquisition of Endeca. At Endeca, Patrick worked as a Software Architect from 2010 to 2012. Patrick played a key role in designing and implementing a query evaluation engine for the Latitude agile BI platform. Additionally, Patrick worked at EMC as a Principal Software Engineer from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley's Computer Science Division from 2000 to 2006, where they focused on researching large-scale, distributed storage systems.
