MABLE (Mapping for Accessible Built Environments)’s vision is to make large indoor environments accessible for people with disabilities (PWD) to enable participation in large events, conferences, and educational programs. Utilizing Crowdsourcing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotics, we are able to populate and create a real-time responsive map. Available and usable through a digital app, MABLE will make indoor environments more accessible for people with disabilities. MABLE goes beyond mapping by enabling users to navigate indoor environments in real-time through turn-by-turn instructions.
