Joni Burns

Joni Burns has a diverse work experience in the legal sector, starting as a Solicitor at TurksLegal in 2010. Joni then worked at various law firms, including Terrill & Holmes, TressCox Lawyers, and Anisimoff Legal, gaining experience as an Associate and Solicitor. Joni also worked as a Solicitor on a contract role at the Royal Commission Into Institutional Responses to Sexual Abuse. Moving on, Joni joined Captain's Choice as a Marketing Associate in 2017 before transitioning to Moores as an Associate in 2020. Finally, they joined Mable, where they advanced from Legal Counsel to Senior Manager, Legal and Regulatory, and eventually became the Head of Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance in 2024.

Joni Burns attended St Michael's Collegiate School from 1990 to 2004. Joni then pursued a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science, from the University of Melbourne from 2005 to 2009, where they also resided at Trinity College. Subsequently, they went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws with Honors at the University of Melbourne from 2005 to 2010. Joni'seducation culminated with a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School, which they completed from 2016 to 2021.
