Our team, based in London, Glasgow and Bristol, works with landowners across the UK to unlock the full potential of their land through strategic land promotion and deep planning expertise.

As long‑term custodians of UK landholdings ourselves, we understand the responsibility, pressure and commitment that come with being a landowner. We bring this insight to every project we manage.

We guide sites through the planning system to maximise value and support the delivery of sustainable, well‑designed neighbourhoods. Working collaboratively with landowners, local authorities and communities, we ensure each site is carefully assessed, promoted and progressed in a way that reflects local needs and priorities.

Our approach balances commercial outcomes with meaningful placemaking: protecting nature, enhancing wellbeing, improving access, and connecting residents to local amenities and transport. The result is vibrant, resilient communities and a lasting legacy for landowners.

Since 2009, we have successfully promoted sites with capacity for more than 2,500 new homes, providing landowners with clarity, confidence and a clear route to value.

A new chapter built on legacy

In 2025, Mactaggart & Mickel, a fourth‑generation, family‑owned business founded in 1925, entered a transformative joint venture, strengthening Mac Mic Land’s heritage with institutional investment and supporting sustainable growth across the UK.
