Bjarke Ovesen

Bjarke Ovesen has a strong background in project management and sales within the underwater technology and maritime industries. Bjarke began their career as a Project Manager at MacArtney A/S from 2001 to 2003, and later worked as a Project Manager at Semco Maritime from 2003 to 2007. Bjarke then returned to MacArtney A/S as a Project Manager from 2007 to 2008. Bjarke joined Semco Maritime again in 2008 as a Senior Project Manager and held this position until 2014. Bjarke then transitioned to MacArtney Underwater Technology Group, where they held various roles including Head of System Solution from 2014 to 2015, Vice-President System Solutions from 2015 to 2019, and Sales Director in the Defence & Civil Engineering and Naval sectors from 2019 to present.

Bjarke Ovesen's education history began in 1991 when they attended Vejen Gymnasium. After completing their high school education, they enrolled in Teknisk skole from 1993 to 1997 where they studied to become an elektriker. In 1997, they continued their education at Aalborg University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they completed in 2001. After a significant gap in education, Bjarke attended TACK International Denmark in 2022, where they acquired knowledge in Key Account Management and Development. In the same year, they also pursued courses at Teknologisk Institut - Kurser & Uddannelse, focusing on the Performeruddannelsen program.
