William Beekman

William Beekman is currently the Co-President of the French American Museum Exchange (FRAME), where they facilitate cultural collaboration between museums in North America and France. They also serve as the Director and Treasurer of the American Friends of the National Gallery, London, and hold the position of Director at MacDowell and The Paris Review Foundation, Inc. Prior to their retirement, Beekman was a senior finance lawyer at Debevoise & Plimpton from 1980 to 1989. They earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in history and literature of modern England and France from Harvard College.
