Carl Smith is a Chartered Civil Engineer and accomplished Programme Manager with over 15 years of experience, specializing in strategic programme leadership across major defence, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects. They have effectively overseen multi-billion-pound initiatives from concept to completion, emphasizing risk management and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the Head of Programme Controls on a major defence programme at Mace, Carl has previously held roles at leading companies such as Laing O'Rourke and Taylor Woodrow, driving innovation and building high-performing teams in complex environments. Carl is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at Loughborough University.
