Catherine Barrie is a Sustainability Manager whose academic and professional journey focuses on environmental mitigation, climate action, and sustainable development. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Loyola Marymount University, an occupational endorsement in conservation ecology from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and a Master of Science in Smart and Sustainable Cities from Trinity College Dublin. Throughout their career, Catherine has worked with various cities and organizations, notably analyzing and reforming Alaska's first Climate Action plan in Homer. Currently, they are employed as a Sustainability and Social Value Manager at Mace Ltd., where they specialize in sustainable procurement, carbon assessments, and ecological monitoring, aiming to create impactful outcomes for a resilient and equitable future.
