Dika Thapa

Dika Thapa is a Senior Risk Manager at Mace, overseeing a £2bn project that includes comprehensive Risk and contingency Management activities. Previously, Dika held the position of Project Controls Manager at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), managing scheduling, risk, cost control, and reporting for a £2bn Government Major Projects Portfolio. As Programme Risk Manager within DE&S, Dika led risk management across multiple projects, implementing improvement plans and training initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Project Control Engineer - Risk at Turner & Townsend, where risk management was executed for contracts related to the Hinkley Point C project, and as a Consultant in Risk Management at QinetiQ, managing risk processes within the Ministry of Defence. Dika began a career in systems implementation at the University of Greenwich, focusing on the launch of a new CRM system, and contributed to product promotions at Store Promotions Ltd. Dika holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance and Financial Systems from the University of Greenwich.
