John Barrett

John Barrett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and delivery within the construction and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Delivery Director at Mace since March 2017, John oversees the Scarborough Centre Station project and leads the Mace team on the Metrolinx Subway Extensions Program. Previous roles include Operations Director, Associate Director, and Project Manager, with significant contributions to major projects such as the London College of Fashion Building and the London Stadium during the 2017 Athletics World Championships. Prior experience includes a project management role at EDF Energy NNB for the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station, as well as a history in managing utilities and electrical networks during the London 2012 Olympic Park development. John holds an MEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University.
