Peter Sutherland

Peter Sutherland is an experienced Operations Director at Mace since November 2017, where responsibilities include leading the MoJ account team and overseeing significant capital maintenance and expansion projects. Previously, Peter served as Associate Director, managing a multi-million-pound account and leading a large team focused on the MoJ Professional Service Provider Framework in the London & East of England region. With a background in the British Army as a Royal Engineer Operations Officer, Peter developed leadership and operational skills through various roles, including active duty in Afghanistan. Prior to military service, Peter gained experience in project management within private sector consultancy and completed mechanical engineering placements at AMEC. Peter holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and graduated from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, earning a Queen's Commission in Military Leadership.
