Shehbaz Ali

Shehbaz Ali is an experienced Operations Director at Mace since July 2022, previously holding significant roles at THALES GROUND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS UK LIMITED, including Head of Project Controls & Assurance and Interim Head of Project Management. Prior to that, Shehbaz served as Head of the Project Management Office at Thales, where a successful Enterprise PMO strategy was established. With a strong foundation in project management at BAE Systems from 2005 to 2012, roles included Project Manager for Bids and Risk & Schedule, along with Project Controls Manager positions. Shehbaz's career began as a Software Engineer and Design Assurance Engineer at Alenia Marconi Systems. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a PgDip in Information Technology with Software Development from the University of the West of Scotland.
