Tim Barton

Tim Barton is an experienced architect with over 30 years in the field. Currently serving as Associate Director at Mace since September 2016, Tim leads Mace Education TA teams focused on education projects in Lima, Peru, and Cardiff, Wales. Prior experience includes a tenure as Associate Director at Atkins from June 2007 to September 2016, overseeing an architect studio in Bristol and working on multiple education and civic projects in Somerset. Additionally, Tim was colocated at Hampshire County Council from May 2012 to November 2014, managing a 25-member multi-disciplinary team. Tim’s architectural career began at Aedas, where an Associate Architect role involved leading a six-school external PFI project from June 1993 to June 1999. Tim holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Hull College of HE and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Canterbury School of Art.
