Brian Schwartz

Brian Schwartz is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cybersecurity, infrastructure, and property technology. As Vice President at Macerich since August 2005, Brian has led initiatives in cybersecurity, policy compliance, and risk assessment, while also overseeing the deployment of IoT technologies and digital marketing infrastructure. Prior roles include AVP of Information Technology, focusing on smart building infrastructure and unified communications, as well as a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in security and identity management. Brian began their career at Oracle Corporation as a Senior Business System Analyst and Sales Consultant, where Brian supported sales processes for government-related technologies. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego.
