Michael Slavin

SVP, Information Technology at Macerich

As Senior Vice President of Information Technology, Michael Slavin is responsible for executing key strategic initiatives that maximize technology and business process solutions as well as overseeing the continuous improvement of all transactional systems. Mr Slavin worked as a group controller for Macerich prior to his current position.

Prior to joining Macerich in 2000, Mr. Slavin became a certified public accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. He also held CFO positions with a commercial and residential property management company in Santa Monica, Calif. and a world-class ski resort in Lake Tahoe, where he helped orchestrate the development of a pedestrian alpine village in Squaw Valley, California.

Mr. Slavin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Loyola Marymount University and currently serves as chairperson on the finance committee of a local, non-profit organization.
