Rhett Schildroth

Chief Technology Officer at Mach

Rhett Schildroth has extensive work experience in the technology and agriculture sectors. Starting in 1998, they worked as the Supervisor of Program Management at John Deere until 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they held multiple roles at Topcon Precision Agriculture, including Director of Worldwide Ag Engineering and Product Engineering Manager. Rhett then worked as the Director of Ag Engineering and Product Management at Topcon Positioning Systems from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they co-founded REDSHIELD TECHNOLOGY INCORPORATED, a soil sensing startup that developed and sold an in-field soil testing device. The design was later acquired by 360 Yield Center, where Rhett worked as the Product Engineering Manager from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they co-founded Redshield Consulting, an agriculture-focused product design and strategy consulting group, where they continue to work. Most recently, in 2022, Rhett was appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at MACH.

Rhett Schildroth pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Iowa State University, from 1989 to 1994. Later, from 2001 to 2005, they attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business.
