David Carlock

David Carlock serves as Principal at Machete Group since January 2007, providing strategic, development, and operational advisory services for notable clients including NBA, NFL, NHL, and various real estate developers and investors. Additionally, David has been a Board Member at Management Leadership for Tomorrow since January 2001, supporting the development of underrepresented leaders from African American, Latinx, and Native American communities. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Houston Rockets, Chief Operating Officer at Transactive Solutions, Vice President of Business Development at Hard Rock Cafe, and Senior Analyst in the Strategic Planning Department at The Walt Disney Company. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Harvard University.
