Alin Moldovan

Alin Moldovan is the Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder of Machinations.io. Alin has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including stints as the CEO of Electrogrup SA and the CTO of UPC Romania.

Moldovan began their career in 1995 as a network administrator at Babes-Bolyai University. Alin later became the technical manager at CODEC Internet before joining ASTRAL Telecom as the CTO of Internet, Data & Telephony in 2001. Moldovan was with ASTRAL Telecom for four years before moving to UPC Romania as the company's CTO in 2005.

In 2015, Moldovan became the CEO of Electrogrup SA. Alin held this position for just over a year before leaving to co-found Machinations.io.

Alin Moldovan holds a Master's degree in Informatics from Universitatea „Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tiberiu Popoviciu High School of Computer Science.

Alin Moldovan reports to Mihai Gheza, Co-Founder & CEO. Mihai-Ovidiu Urițescu - Full Stack Developer, Patricia Karalyos - Frontend Web Developer, and Zoltán Köpe - Backend, Senior Software Architect report to Alin Moldovan. They work with Radu Craciun - COO & Co-Founder, Cezar Cocias - Diagram Craftsman, Machinations Expert, and Madalina F. - Business Developement Consultant.
