Joris Dormans

Joris Dormans is a creator and co-founder of Machinations.io. Joris has also worked as a programmer and designer for Ludomotion and GewGawGames, where they created the Bewbees game. Additionally, Dormans has been a lecturer at Avans Hogeschool, Hogeschool van Amsterdam, and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they helped set up the game development program and wrote a PhD dissertation on Game Design.

Joris Dormans' educational career includes a PhD in Game Design from the University of Amsterdam, as well as an MA in Cultural Studies from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Additionally, Dormans studied Architecture at Eindhoven University of Technology.

Their manager is Mihai Gheza, Co-Founder & CEO. Some of their coworkers include Vlad Centea - Co-Founder, Admin, Andrei Mariuțeac - Product Designer, and Radu Craciun - COO & Co-Founder.
