Stuart Carlin has over 30 years of work experience. Stuart started their career in 1988 as the Founder and CEO of All Campus Vending, a business placing soda and candy machines in Fraternities and Sororities around the University of Illinois. In 1991, they joined Ernst and Young as a staff auditor, eventually becoming a senior auditor. In 1994, they moved to Playboy Enterprises as a Financial Analyst, helping to create and proof the 10-Q's and 10-K. In 1996, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of two companies, On the Go Concessions and Xchange Media Services. In 1999, they founded MachineTools.com, a global online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers in the machine tool industry. In 2011, they founded Localstew.com and in 2017, they Co-Founded The D Zone LLC, a high school sports media and recruiting platform focusing on football and basketball. In 2018, they founded Machinery Manager.

Stuart Carlin attended Highland Park High School from 1984 to 1987. Stuart then went on to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Gies College of Business, where they earned a degree in Business with a focus in Accounting from 1987 to 1991.
