Jay Ratcliffe has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In 1996, they began their career as the Director of Managed Care Applications at Brown & Toland Medical Group. Jay then served as the Director of a Joint Venture between Brown & Toland and Healtheon, where they managed teams of 40+ analysts, developers, testers and implementation staff to create a web product for the administration of Accountable Care Organization tools. In 2000, they became the Product Manager at Healtheon, where they developed products to assist healthcare payers and providers automate revenue cycle management and comply with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). In 2002, they joined WebMD as the Director of Product Management, where they developed and managed products to assist healthcare payers and providers automate revenue cycle management and to comply with the requirements of HIPAA. In 2014, they became a Board Member/Advisor at NurseJobs California. In 2015, they joined Change Healthcare as the Senior Director of Payment Integrity Product Management, where they integrated multiple product offerings across the healthcare payment continuum and led an Agile Transformation for the Business Unit across three major product lines and 5 engineering teams. In 2018, they joined Clover Health as the Group Product Manager of Healthcare, where they worked to reduce friction and increase transparency organization-wide. In 2019, they became the Head of Healthcare Payment at Machinify, Inc. and in 2010, they joined Cookiti as a Member of the Board of Directors.

Jay Ratcliffe began their educational journey at Shadle Park High School. Jay then attended Whitworth University from 1982 to 1985, graduating with a BA in French and International Studies. Jay continued their studies at Suffolk University from 1990 to 1993, earning an MPA/HA in Public Administration/Health Administration.
