Brian Happel

Brian Happel has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Brian worked as the Treasurer & Director of Business Control at Mack Defense, LLC from 2014 onwards. In this position, they were responsible for managing the financial aspects of the company and led the pricing and business case development of a major US Army contract.

Before that, they worked at GfK Custom Research North America as the Director of Financial Planning Analysis from 2011 to 2014. In this role, they provided financial leadership to multiple North American strategic business units and supported the C-level leadership and Managing Directors.

Brian also has a long history with Mack Trucks, Inc, where they held various positions from 1996 to 2010. Brian served as the Senior Chief Program Manager, Group Manager - Economic Support Business Planning & Analysis, Manager - Range Economic Analysis, and Senior Analyst / Cost & Economic Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for financial control, cost analysis, and business case development.

Before joining Mack Trucks, Inc, Brian worked at The Bon Ton Stores Inc. / Hess's Department Stores from 1992 to 1996. Brian gained experience in both operational and merchant areas, holding positions such as HR & Operations Manager, Merchandise Coordinator, Assistant Store Manager, and Assistant Buyer.

Brian Happel attended Southern Lehigh High School from 1985 to 1988. Brian then went on to Moravian University, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management & German from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at Lehigh University College of Business from 2003 to 2007.
