Jarek Walker

Jarek Walker has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jarek began their career at CCRT Bicycle, where they served as a Staff Manager and contributed to the inventory management and business promotion. At UMass, they worked as a Resident Assistant, providing assistance to students. Jarek then joined Crocker's Refrigeration as a Refrigeration Technician, where they handled load analysis, electrical controls, and equipment installation.

In 2012, Jarek started working at Electro-Mechanical Technology Company as a Quality Assurance Engineer, driving ISO 9001 application and certification. Jarek also conducted material reviews, performed internal audits, and assisted with vendor inspections. Jarek later transitioned to the role of Manufacturing Process Engineer, focusing on improving operations and efficiency through ISO 9001 standards and IPC-A-610 CIT Quality Certification.

Jarek joined API Technologies Corp. in 2017 as a Senior Process Engineer. Here, they led the review and improvement of production processes, analyzed failures, and provided solutions for efficiency. Jarek also supported program management and contributed to NRE time and cost estimates.

Most recently, Jarek joined Mack Technologies as an Engineering Manager. In this role, they manage customer accounts, ensures on-time delivery through DFM analysis, and implements lean concepts for manufacturing efficiency. Jarek is also a manufacturing SME for various assembly standards and criteria.

Jarek Walker obtained their Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have acquired several certifications. In March 2008, they obtained the EPA-608U certification from the Mainstream Engineering Corporation. Later, in October 2012, they became a Certified IPC Trainer in IPC-A-610 from IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries. Jarek expanded their certifications in October 2020 by acquiring two more Certified IPC Trainer certifications: IPC J-STD-001 CIT and IPC J-STD-001 Space Apps CIT, both from IPC. Furthermore, in November 2018, they obtained the Massachusetts Industrial Wastewater Operators License from the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC). Lastly, Jarek obtained the Massachusetts CSL Unrestricted certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in August 2017.
