Michael Snyder

Michael Snyder is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in high yield investments and portfolio management. As Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at MacKay Shields since April 2006, Michael oversees the management of over $23 billion in high yield bonds and leveraged loan investments, while also focusing on client relations and institutional business development. Previously, Michael served as Managing Director and Head of Global High Yield at AllianceBernstein, managing $15 billion in assets and leading a team of 16 investment professionals. Michael co-founded the High Yield Group at DLJ Asset Management and held significant leadership roles at Bear Stearns Asset Management and Prudential Financial. Michael holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BA in Economics and Accounting from Dickinson College.
