Lee Leighton, AICP, serves as a Project Planner IV at Mackenzie since February 2015, focusing on land use planning and project management for urban development and policy initiatives. Previous roles include Planner III at Mackenzie, where responsibilities encompassed client relationship management and development feasibility assessments, and Director of Planning at Westlake Consultants, Inc., coordinating entitlement applications for various land uses. Lee's experience also includes senior planning at Shapiro and Associates, overseeing transportation and growth management projects, and economic development coordination for the City of Tualatin, Oregon. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Management in Science and Technology from Oregon Health & Science University, a Master of Community and Regional Planning from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Whittier College.
