Alyse Spicer

Alyse Spicer has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Alyse started their career at Helen Exley Giftbooks as a Foreign Rights Co-ordinator, where they were responsible for organizing events and designing international marketing campaigns. Alyse then worked at Thomson Learning as an HE Marketing Executive, handling print and digital marketing campaigns and providing product support for the sales team. Alyse joined Cengage Learning EMEA as a HE Publishers Representative before being promoted to UK Senior Sales Rep, where they managed sales growth and provided training and development plans for new-starters. Alyse later became the UK and Ireland Sales Manager and UK and Europe Head of Sales at Macmillan International Higher Education and Macmillan Learning, respectively. Throughout their career, Alyse has consistently met sales targets and maximized sales revenue.

Alyse Spicer obtained a BA (Hons) degree in History and Politics from the University of Nottingham from 1998 to 2001. Later, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
