LaShawn Springer

LaShawn Springer is a DEIB strategist and educator with extensive experience in fostering inclusive communities. They served as the Associate Director of College Counseling and Director of the Community and Multicultural Development Office at Phillips Academy from 2012 to 2021, where they developed anti-racist curricula and supported a variety of cultural organizations. Following their tenure at Phillips Academy, LaShawn worked at TikTok as an Organizational Culture and Diversity Partner from 2021 to 2023, focusing on learning and development initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion. Currently, LaShawn is the Director of Inclusive Pedagogy at Macmillan Learning, continuing to advocate for equitable education practices. They hold a B.A. in Psychology and African American Studies from Wesleyan University and a Master of Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
