Michael Pasko

Michael Pasko serves as the Vice President of Architecture and Chief Architect of Achieve at Macmillan Learning since May 2018, where responsibilities include collaborating with product teams on technical aspects of new initiatives and overseeing multiple development teams to standardize API, coding, and database practices. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Java Architect at KEY, focusing on feature development with NodeJS, React, and Redux, and helped integrate REST API standards. At Periscope Holdings, from December 2011 to February 2018, Michael led the design and implementation of architecture for a new flagship platform using AWS cloud technology. Michael's early career includes significant contributions as a Senior Java Developer at Texas Insurance Checking Office, where a substantial database migration was accomplished, and as a Junior Java Developer at Logical Information Machines, focusing on internal production tools and financial data processing. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas State University and has prior education from The University of Texas at Austin.
