Nicholas Bruno

Nicholas Bruno is a seasoned professional in economic development and workforce initiatives, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Workforce Development at MACNY - The Manufacturers Association since August 2025, where efforts focus on forging partnerships and enhancing workforce development programs throughout New York State. Previously, Nicholas held various roles at Mohawk Valley EDGE from January 2012 to August 2025, culminating as Vice President of Business Development, where responsibilities included managing strategic business attraction and advancing marketing and communications. Earlier experience includes project management centered on economic development in Oneida County and consulting for the Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region, coupled with early internship work focused on local planning projects. Nicholas holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University at Albany.
