Afzaal Qamar

Afzaal Qamar is a highly skilled semiconductor R&D leader with a PhD and an EMBA, specializing in III-V device fabrication and process technology. With extensive experience in developing micro-nano devices, Afzaal has served in various roles, including Manager of III-V Device Fabrication at the Institute of Applied Technologies and Senior Process Engineer at Soundskrit. Currently, Afzaal holds the position of Process Engineering Manager at MACOM, contributing to innovations in device fabrication. They have published research in respected journals such as Applied Physics Letters and IEEE Electron Device Letters. Afzaal’s expertise also includes statistical data analysis, layout design, and process transfer from R&D to production.
