Damian McCann has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles in the technology industry. Damian is currently working as an Associate Director of Development Engineering at Microchip Technology Inc. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering - Aerospace & Defense at MACOM Technology Solutions, where they led the engineering team in sensor and communications development initiatives. Damian also served as the Director of Engineering - Long Beach Office at M/A-COM Technology Solutions, where they led all power product engineering activities and focused on microwave/mm-Wave GaN process evolution.

Damian McCann received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queen's University Belfast in the years 1980 to 1983. Damian also obtained a Certificate degree in Marketing from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1996 to 1997. Prior to their university education, Damian attended St. Colmans College and Violet Hill from 1973 to 1980.
